Squash South Africa has a vacancy for an Administrator with a financial background.
We are looking to hire an experienced finance administrator to join our dynamic team that is based at the Wanderers Sports Club, Illovo, Sandton.
The key responsibilities for this role include and are not limited to:
- General administration
- Processing all bookkeeping for affiliation of clubs
- Financial administration and reconciliations
Qualifications
- BCom degree preferred but a minimum of a financial accounting certificate
- Matric – required
Experience
- 8 – 10 years administration preferably at a National Sporting Federation
- 5 years financial accounting experience
Skills
- Excellent proficiency in English
- Strong administration skills
- Advanced Microsoft skills
- Knowledge of accounting software: Sage
- Hands on experience with stakeholder engagement
- Events/tournament and/or project management would be an advantage
- Effective and diplomatic communication skills
- Ability to work in a team while also being a self-starter
