InternationalSPORTgroup is delighted to announce that 3 time World Squash Champion Nick Matthew has signed long-term sponsorship agreement with Benz Bavarian which will see the UK’s most successful squash player drive a brand new ‘A’ Class Mercedes.

England No.1 Matthew, who is currently recovering from minor knee surgery, is expected to play a key role for Team England in this summer’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. 

“It’s a fantastic car and I’m delighted to have started driving it this week. I do plenty of miles travelling to tournaments and training sessions so having the right car is really important for me,” said Matthew.

“The ‘A’ Class is stylish and sporty which suits my image as a professional athlete although I’m also about to become a Dad for the first time in September so safety and reliability are important to me too.”

Auto specialist Benz Bavarian, based in Derbyshire, is a long-time supporter of squash through its sponsorship of the Premier Squash League team Benz Bavarian Duffield, for whom Matthew plays.
