S A National Champion, Steve Coppinger retained his top 20 ranking for the tenth consecutive month when the PSA (Professional Squash Player Association) world rankings were released this week.
Coppinger, who in February 2013, became the first South Africa to enter the top 20 since the late 70’s, slots in at 20 for December. He reached a personal high of 17 in June 2013.
Capetonian, Shaun le Roux, presently based in the UK is ranked 47, while fellow Western Province teammate, Clinton Leeuw, remains on 92.
On the World Women’s rankings Siyoli Waters , the S A National champion who also hails from Cape Town, keeps her number 33 ranking. Milnay Louw, who reached the finals of the Caboolture Open in Brisbane Australia early in November and the quarterfinals of the Malaysian Tour Squash Circuit Grand Final in mid November in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia jumps 10 place to her personal high of 65.
UJ student Cheyna Tucker remains on 82 with Capetonian Alex Fuller still in the top 100, at 97
