In 3 weeks time the 6th year of The Jesters National u23 Series will begin with the first legs in Cape Town and Pretoria. Once again we encourage everyone aged between 16 and under 23 before the final leg (24 September) to enter as many tournaments as they wish and we particularly welcome all those 16, 17, 18 year old school players to come and take part in their local leg. There will be a special prize for the u17 and u19 who finishes the highest in each tournament!
Each regional event will have as many sections as needed to accommodate all entrants but will be limited to draw sizes of either 8 or 16 players. This will mean that strength plays strength from round 1 and also the younger players will now have a chance to win a prize in their own section! Each player is guaranteed 4 matches.
There will be 4 tournaments: Cape Town, Pretoria, Pietermaritzburg and the finals in Joburg. The top 12 will automatically qualify for the finals event with 4 additional places being given to players who the committee of SA Jesters feel have earned it. The Joburg “Finals leg” will also have a B and C section so as to allow all other players who did not qualify for the finals an opportunity to enter an under 23 tournament in the Joburg area.
Entry fee is R190 and is payable at the event and not via eft. Each player will receive a complimentary long sleeve warm up top.

- Cape Town: 21 – 23 August – WPCC
- Pretoria: 21 – 23 August – Harlequins
- Pietermaritzburg: 11 – 13 September – Collegians
- Johannesburg: 24 – 26 September – Finals for top 16 AND regional event – CCJ Auckland Park
