Dylan Groenewald beat Wayne Sithole 3-2 in a pulsating final of the Boys u19 at the Wilson Easterns Junior Open this past weekend. Wayne had match point at one stage in the fourth game which Dylan only saved with a spectacular dive and lightning fast recovery. Right until the end the match could have gone either way.

In the Girls u19 Marnel Redelinghuys dominated proceedings, losing only one game in a round robin with 7 players. She was closely followed by Julz Clucas who was the player to take that one game and also win all her other matches 3-0.
