Mrs Sonia Hendricks will be leaving Squash South Africa at the end of this week.

Sonia has been with Squash South Africa for 12 years and her  input has been invaluable . Apart from the general office administration Sonia was solely responsible for the inputting of results for rankings: her friendly telephone manner in dealing with the numerous queries for provinces and players : her  contribution at the national individual and doubles nationals and the annual conventions will in particular be missed BUT as much as it is our loss, a golden opportunity awaits Sonia as she has started her own business  – a takeaway restaurant in Bunting Campus, University of Johannesburg, Auckland Park.

I know that all of you joining us in wishing her all the best for her future  and also that of  her family.

Mrs Lynette Swanepoel , the Affiliations Administrator, has stepped into the breach and has spent the last week learning the ropes and was introduced to tournament running with the S A National Doubles Championships.

We wish her a happy hands on association with Squash South Africa – a little different from  affiliation fees.
