Greetings once again to all of you. The time seems to be flying by faster each year.
We would like to bring the date of our tournament to your attention so that you can plan ahead and set time aside to come and join us at the 17th Lowveld Masters Invitation. We have kept the same date as last year.
We have another important announcement to make. We have lost 5 of our courts this year. Firstly LVCC has closed down and needs to relocate but in true Slowveld style is taking its time to rebuild, and secondly the Agricultural College is being converted to the Mpumalanga University and there is a lot of construction happening on campus especially around the squash courts which has made it a “No-Go Zone”. They’ve assured us that all will be up and running again for next year.
In order to accommodate all you amazing people and continue the tradition of this tournament we have decided to switch over to Doubles for this year. So with only 9 or 10 courts we can still accommodate you all by putting 4 players on a court!! We will follow the Masters format by having couples instead of teams. We are open to any suggestions as a lot of you play a lot of doubles, and know how it’s organized! You can still enter as your clubs or team names as in the past.
Further details will be mailed soon, including accommodation.
