Here are the next round results for the Central Gauteng Open squash tournament – CGS Open results 2013 after 8 April rounds.
Rudi Willemse, Rodney Durbach, Jean-Pierre Brits, Zuko Kubukeli, Michael Wood, Andrew Martin, Clinton Leeuw are the SA men who went through to the next round, as well as Kelvin Ndhlovu from Zambia who plays for Northerns.

The results of the SA Schools Closed tournament held at Parkview Squash Centre from 21-24 March are posted under tournament results. The tournament was part of the qualifying tournaments for the SA national junior teams and some outstanding squash was on display.
In all the sections there were results that differed from the Bloemfontein Open that was played just 3 weeks earlier and served as the first qualifying tournament. The next qualifying tournament is the SA Junior Championships in Fish Hoek from 19-21 April.
Closing date for entries is 5 April. The tournament takes place from 19-21 April at the Fish Hoek Squash Club. Full details on the entry form.

Egypt’s Ramy Ashour heads the April Dunlop PSA Men’s World Squash Rankings, published today by the Professional Squash Association, with the highest points average ever recorded.
Final appearances in all nine PSA World Tour events in which he has appeared over the past twelve months – with title triumphs in eight, including last month’s PSA World Series North American Open and Kuwait PSA Cup – take the 25-year-old from Cairo’s points average to 1,872.50, more than 700 above his nearest rival!
Unbeaten since losing the British Open final to England’s Nick Matthew last May, Ashour celebrated his 36th win in a row two weeks ago when he defeated Englishman James Willstrop 6-11, 11-8, 11-3, 11-3 in the Kuwait PSA Cup climax.
