Bloemfontein Open Junior Squash Championships


4th -6th March 2016

461 junior squash players (under 11, under 13, under 14, under 16  and under 19 ) will converge on Bloemfontein on Friday 4th March when the annual Bloemfontein Open Junior Championships will be played at various venues in the city.

Parktown Boys High School learner, Wayne Sithole, who collected the Prince S A Open Junior title two weeks ago in Johannesburg heads the boys’ under 19 seedings followed by John Kuhn (FS), Callan Hall (N) and Makhosonke Ntuli (CG). All four finished in the top 4 at Prince.

Noel Lee (Epworth Girls High, KZN), also victorious in the Prince S A Open is the number 1 seed in the girls Under 19, with Panashe Sithole (St. Mary’s, Waverley, Johannesburg) runner–up in the Prince in the second slot. Jennifer Preece (N C) is the third seed and Kescia Scorgie (NFS) fourth.

Mikael Clayton (N) and Izanne Louw (FS) top the under 16 seedings with Border’s Tristan Worth and Western Province’s Jordyn Campbell leading the under 14 entries.

  1. Kaylee Hunt has unfortunately had to have an operation on her hand which we did not anticipate
    Her hand is now in her cast so she will have to withdraw from the Bloemfontein open
    I am sorry for any inconvenience caused
    Please advise if a medical certificate is required

    The operation was done by dr East at Kloof hospital
